Each month more than 150 business associates gather at a members’ place of business, local hotel or restaurant for an informal networking opportunity. The Association of Commerce Business Connections are held on the third Tuesday of the month.

This informal gathering not only benefits the attendees as they establish contacts and cement relationships, but also gives the hosting company a chance to showcase its organization to business representatives throughout the community.

Coffee Connections

On the heels of a membership survey in 2003, the Communications Council came up with the idea of a Coffee Connection - providing AC members with an additional opportunity to network.  Growing in popularity over the past several years, they are offered more often in 2007.

Held at 7:30 a.m. the first Wednesday of the month (except January and July), each business representative is invited to give a 30 second commercial about his or her business.  Representatives are encouraged to bring brochures or other handouts while the host is invited to address the crowd with a more detailed commercial message.   To view scheduled Coffee Connections click here.
